To the staff of Knuston Hall I am writing to express my heartfelt thanks to you all for a delightful five days spent on the Spires & Squires course. The course itself was most enjoyable and learnt a great deal. Even if I don't know my pilasters from my strapwork, I can certainly recognise a long and short quoin when I see it! But it was the work which went on to facilitate and support the course for which I would like to thank you all. It goes without saying that the setting of Knuston is gorgeous and the house itself is beautiful. The accommodation is excellent and the catering superb, but these things only matter if the whole is made up of a group of individuals who are committed and enthusiastic. From my first greeting every morning from the lovely lady who was cleaning to Michele's final wishes for a good night's sleep, I met nothing but kindness, smiles, pleasant greetings and warmth from all the staff at Knuston. All we saw and recognised was a hard working and happy team whose only objective seemed to be to ensure that we all had a smooth running and pleasant stay. I hope that when each of you takes a well deserved break you enjoy such a marvellous time as did my mother and I at Knuston. Kindest regards, Sue
