Michael Aston is a freelance pianist and lecturer.  He contributes to the Continuing Education programmes of the Universities of Manchester, Cambridge and Nottingham. He has made a specialist study of the music of William Walton and regularly takes groups on study tours to the Walton estate in southern Italy.
