One day non residential course

This workshop develops a range of expressive techniques with Pencil & Graphite using best studio practice to define a personal style of working.  Combining beautiful evening Slide shows, our activities will achieve a highly individualised understanding of how Portraiture has been used in Art for generations.  Good humoured, supportive interaction underpins our studies, working with professional models over the weekend to give creative satisfaction to our works. Beginners as well as experienced artists are especially welcome.

This course is for anyone who enjoys singing and wants to improve their technique and presentation skills.  The course combines both group and solo singing; group songs using simple harmony will be supplied. Students should also bring along 3-4 of their favourite songs, with copies for the pianist.  This course is relaxed, supportive and great fun, with the opportunity to perform in an informal concert to show off your ?party piece?.

Nous lirons des extraits du court roman d?Honor? de  Balzac : Le colonel Chabert et discuterons de l?adaptation cin?matographique d?Yves Angelo. Vous aurez ?galement l?occasion de pr?senter un article au reste du groupe, de jouer au Scrabble et surtout? de discuter en fran?ais !

This course is suitable for those who have reached A level standard or above.
